Goa Photo Journal
A 35mm film experience of the faces and places encountered in a magical faraway land.
Paradise Beach
This man struts his camel up and down the beach. First camel I have ever seen. Surreal to see the size of him. Definitely not in Kansas anymore.

Coconut lady
In the blistering heat, this coconut lady carries a bin of coconuts on her head. She is strong and fierce and we laugh together while she machetes a coco open.
Baba in Anjuna
Famous baba with his adorned cow at Anjuna Market. Gets his cow to do tricks for coin. Not sure how I feel about it but he was captivating.
In the making
One of our favorite meals at MOMO HOUSE in Arambol. Every day fresh Tibetan momos that took forever to deliver. Totally worth the wait and made with so much love.
All smiles
This is one of my most favorite moments. On the walkway to yet another hippie cafe, Mom goes about her chores, kids roam freely and it feels like bliss. I ask if I could take their photo and they are so excited. Grateful, humbled.

By the truckload
Huge family packs into a pick-up truck and temple tours. They wear big smiles and colorful saris. We take photos of them. Them of us. It is mutual awe.

Field of green
Mystical Hampi, Karnataka. A hippie area amidst rice fields and boulders. Journal post on that coming up...
Trim
A scene like this feels cinematic but it's just business as usual. A day in the life of a barber man.

Sarong life
These gorgeous teenage girls were clever, spoke some words in a few different languages and warmed my heart. The sad reality is that instead of being in school they are illegally selling sarongs for nothing all day and are obliged to give the money to their families. Heartbreaking to see them run off when police patrol the beaches.

'Round here
These cylindrical homes make me so happy. Fairy tale shapes and sizes.
Glowing Baba
This baba's radiant, present energy takes us over. Love how the flair caught his rainbow frequency.
Feelin' Fruity
The abundance of the land in sunset's glow.
Beach Bods
Surprised to see how organized in its chaos India is. Having lifeguards on the beach is just an example.
Travel Light
Bobby One Love guesthouse in Hampi. Service: not existent, horrific mattress -just basic shelter. Pretty decent food though. Best Shakshuka I had.
See Ya
Hop on a TukTuk and these school boys share. Thrilled when I ask if I could take their photo. Soft moment for me. Thank you, India.
